Now with Mapping

We got mapping on there now.

Still very raw in beta, but figured we could fix it up along the way.

  1. Firstly, thanks for adding this feature - it's very nice, and you've managed to do the mapping faster than any other google map mashup I've ever seen.

There seem to be some bugs in it though. When I search for a zip code, I see all the pushpins where they should be, but each one links to another (somewhat random) house. So for example I see a pushpin at 11736 Lovejoy, as I should (because it's for sale), but when I click it, I get taken to completely different house miles away.

  2. Ha! Wow that sucks. Figured it was easier to make the feature live and get emails like this, versus paying my programmers to do endless testing. Will look into it!

  3. Hi Frank,
Yet another great improvement with the maps. Is it possible to number label to correspond to the spreadsheet listings?

  4. I dunno. The problem with numbers is the actual listings don't have numbers, so it would be strange to have a number in the pin. But I guess if you see a 4 you kinda know it is higher up than a 34.

I will think about how to better do this. Maybe I can highlight the row in the spreadsheet mode when you rollover the pin. But you better have a big screen for that!
